Acacia Cowboy Co. is a small business owned and operated by husband and wife in Southern Alberta. Oliver was raised in East Africa on farms and ranches. This being where the acacia tree stems from! Growing up around cattle and horses naturally drew him to the western lifestyle. He has been building saddles for over 10 years now. He built his first saddle in New Mexico with James Sturgeon, before moving to Canada and refining his craft with an apprenticeship at KC Saddlery in Red Deer, AB. Oliver went to Andy Knight to learn how to build saddle trees.

Though we will continue to build the occasional saddle, moving forward, our sole focus will be to produce quality saddle trees for custom saddle makers.
